Who is Abiqua Handy Service?

Carl Krigbaum. I have over 10 years of experience as a Maintenance and Operations staff member in a place that received over one million visitors a year. Building and grounds maintenance was needed daily. I am bringing my expertise to you. I am a professional who will bring peace of mind with the quality of service you receive.

I am building this company on a reputation of integrity and quality.

I live in Silverton with my family. My partner and I have two daughters. I help with the Parent Teacher Club at my child’s school. I engage as a volunteer for the City of Silverton. I help a local Fire District as an EMT. I love my community and have a chance to help my neighbors with their homes. I want to help get your Honey Do, Done.

Caring for a home increases lifespans, performance, safety and in some cases, it reduces operating cost. Fixing an issue today can prevent replacing a problem tomorrow.

I will bring you peace of mind knowing that a professional has taken care of it for you.

What is the short list? I will hang it on the wall. Pictures, curtains, mirrors, shelves, towel racks, grab bars, and coat hooks. I will assemble furniture in your home like beds, bookshelves grills/ BBQs and dish hutches. I install garage shelving, storage and organization. TV wall mounts. Fence repairs for wood and chain link. Door repairs. Sprinkler winterization and summer startup. I help with home decorating also.

Teaching is one of my favorite things to do. If you are a true DIY person and would like to learn how, I can help you with that. Think of it as a live video.

Just finished this greenhouse assembly for a customer. She is excited for a new home for her starts and a “She-shed”. This is an example of how we get your Honey Do, Done.

Where will Abiqua Handy Service work?

I will come to your home in Mt. Angel, Scotts Mills (is our office location) and Silverton. I will work 30 feet above ground and 6 feet below ground. Indoors and outdoors.

This door was slammed so much that it started falling out of the wall.

Here we have the white door, brown seal, and tan threshold. The old torn seal is in the front.

This is a different door that had TOO GOOD of a seal. The owner had to slam the door closed and push/ kick the door open. Hinges and door length were the culprits. We got this door closing with a gentle pull.

Why was Abiqua Handy Service created?

I enjoy helping. I am also seeing the green opportunities that repairing instead of replacing offers. I would like to help you maintain items like your refrigerator and bathroom fans to keep them out of the landfills.

What are some things that Abiqua Handy Service will not do?

I am setup as an LLC with insurance; and I am not a contractor licensed with the Construction Contractors Board (CCB). This prevents me from working on lead-based paint and getting required building permits to remodel rooms or additions on your home. I am currently exempt from CCB licensure based on ORS 701.010(4)
